ReLivR is a peer-to-peer service marketplace for your local community — open to everyone. It connects people who need tasks done (Creators) with people who have the skills to do them (Earners).
🎓 Anyone can join. If you’re at a South African university, verifying your student email earns a verified-student badge, boosts your trust, and unlocks student-only deals.
Creating a task takes less than 60 seconds. Provide a title, description, budget, deadline, and skill tags. Once posted, your task is immediately visible and earners with matching skills are notified automatically.
Earners submit bids with a proposed price and pitch. You can review all bids, message earners directly, and take as long as you need before accepting.
When you accept a bid, all other bids are automatically declined and the winning earner is notified. You then agree the final details directly with the earner.
Payment is arranged directly between you and the earner — ReLivR does not process or hold money. Once the work is done you mark the task complete and are prompted to leave a review.
Browse the task feed by skill, keyword, or area. The Suggestions tab surfaces tasks specifically matched to your skill profile using our Jaccard similarity algorithm.
Write a pitch explaining why you're the right person for the task and propose your price. You can bid on multiple tasks simultaneously and withdraw a bid at any time before it's accepted.
You agree a price with the creator and settle it directly with them. ReLivR does not process payments or take a commission, so you keep the full amount you agree.
Today: ReLivR does not process payments. You agree a price on the platform and settle it directly with the other person — cash, EFT, or whatever suits you both. ReLivR takes no commission.
Planned: we are building escrow, where a regulated South African payment provider holds the money until the work is confirmed. It is not live yet, and this page will be updated before it is.
Because payment happens off-platform for now, agree the amount and method clearly in the task messages, and only work with people whose profile and rating you are comfortable with.
Every task has a built-in messaging thread between the creator and the accepted earner. Messages are stored and visible to admin in the event of a dispute — so keep communication professional and on-platform.
If something goes wrong, either party can raise a dispute and our admin team is notified. The admin reviews the messages, task requirements and any evidence submitted, and rules on what should happen. Because payments are currently arranged directly between users, ReLivR cannot reverse a payment — a ruling affects account standing and ratings, and we will help both parties reach a fair outcome.
